The Rainforest Alliance certifies coffee as well as other products and services if their production or provision follows certain standards. In general, Rainforest Alliance standards are set to protect the environment and the rights of employees. The basic rules are called the Sustainable Agriculture Standards, and additional standards apply to coffee.
